Our gooseberry
Gooseberries have been cultivated in Europe since the 16th century and are often used in the kitchen for cakes, desserts and compotes or jams. Or even as fresh berries now and then since the new varieties are characterised by their aroma, their size and an unexpectedly smooth fruit skin.
