The dwarf apricot Compacta is preferably planted in small home gardens and buckets because of its stocky growth form and a final height of maximum 2 meters, and amazes by its yearly rich yield of tasty, juicy fruits.

slow-growing, compact form with upright shoots, moderate branching

medium early, very frost-hard

July - August, some days before „Ungarische Beste“ (Hungarian Best)

Appearance:

medium-sized, oval fruits, orange coloured with red shades

Quality:

juicy fruit pulp, loosens easily from the stone

Taste:

harmonious, fresh taste

Crop yield:

early and very high

Special notes:

winter protection is recommended, but low sensitivity for late frosts; during blossoming slight susceptibility to Monilia;
slow-growing, nearly dwarfy growth: particularly suitable for use in plant tubs for balcony and terrace
