The sharka (plum pox virus) resistant ‚Elena‘ is a late ripening, dark blue plum of distinctive aroma on a very healthy tree. With Oechsle degrees of over 100°C it can be consumed fresh and used for baking or distilling liquor.

medium strong to strong growing, loose crown structure, broad overhanging crown, glossy, deep green foliage

mid-size fruits, dark blue, typical plum shape

Quality:

yellow to yellowish-green flesh, juicy, moderate stone loosening

Taste:

sweet, good plum flavor

Crop yield:

early onsetting, very high, thinning is recommended
