Galiwa CH 101

Who wants to bite the bullet? It should be sweet like the popular ,Gala', the new, scab tolerant apple from Switzerland. Only ,Galiwa' raised from thousands of nameless seeds which were crossed for this purpose in 1992 - scab tolerant (scab resistant Rvi6), red, sweet. With its flavour reminding of tropical fruits it constitutes a real enrichment especially for the organic cultivation and private gardens.
