Growth:

medium strong, compact growth, vigorous fruiting wood

Ripeness:

depending on the region mid until the end of September, up to 2 weeks before Golden Delicious, staggered ripening; ripe for consumption: from harvest

Appearance:

medium-sized, roundish, slightly conical, regular, smooth (fruit) skin; bright red body colour above orange on yellow basis

Quality:

firm, juicy, crisp, creamy-yellow, fragrant

Taste:

fruity, eminently sweet, intense flavour

Crop yield:

early and good, somewhat vulnerable to alternate bearing 

Special notes:

Scab resistance (Vf) i.e.: scab-resistant because of resistance to malus floribunda, medium susceptibility to fire blight. Dessert apple with a sugar value, which is still above the Gala (variety). Well-suited as a sweet, well-storable apple for the organic cultivation.
