This undemanding, sharka tolerant variety is suitable also for colder sites and it is not only convincing due to its early and high yields but also due to its excellent taste and its velvety skin. Perfect for fresh consumption it is also recommended for baking and a good choice for commercial fruit producers as well as for private gardens.

Growth:

medium strong to strong growth, upright, with hanging fruit wood, at extensive crop breaking of branches is possible, the forming of the sprouts in the first two years is recommended so that the branching is less steep, later only thinning is necessary

mid-August to mid-September, long harvest period, ripening slightly later so that two or more repicking actions are necessary

Appearance:

large, elongated fruits, medium firm, luminious medium-blue, strong pruinosity

Quality:

golden-yellow flesh, in some years stones can be removed only moderately

harmonious with fine acidity, distinctive flavor

excellent dessert fruit with best baking quality; susceptibility to wood diseases should be considered when selecting the site; due to Pseudomonas susceptibility trees have to be cut in late spring; the variety is recommended by the Bayerische Landesanstalt für Weinbau und Gartenbau (LVG) (standard range for house and small gardens)
