,Lövöpetri' convinces by a harmonious crown structure which is especially suited for mechanical harvest.

chance seedling of Fernec Szöke, Lövöpetri, Hungary

Growth:

medium-strength growth, half-upright knot position, only occasionally drooping fruit wood, well garnished, only low tendency for blind wood. The branches are densely covered with flower buds from inside out.

Blossom:

self-fertile, quite late

Ripeness:

late ripening, shortly before/together with ,Schattenmorelle'

Appearance:

large fruits, 25 to 27 mm, 7 to 8 g, kidney-shaped, red, dark-red, shiny

Quality:

quite firm to firm flesh, releases dry from the stalk

Taste:

fruity, rather sourish

Crop yield:

high, regular, early onsetting

Special notes:

Slightly vulnerable to Monilia, easy variety for mechanical harvesting, either for fresh consumption or for industrial processing. The crown may be better shaken than „Ungarische Traubige“, little pruning effort, suited for fresh consumption as well as for industrial processing.
