Milwa Junami
Milwa is a young apple variety from the house of Agroscope Changins-Wädenswil ACW. The crossing from Idared, Maigold (Maygold) and Elstar combines the very best fruit features with excellent shelf life and convinces with its crispness and freshness as a thirst quencher.

rather slow, vigorous fruiting wood
Blossom:
medium early blossoming, diploid, good pollinators are: Braeburn, Golden Delicious, Mairac, Iduna, Pinova
Ripeness:
depending on the region - mid until the end September - approx. 1 week before Golden Delicious
Storage:
extremely good storage behavior
Appearance:
Medium-sized, flat-spherical, smooth, green-yellow colour with ¾ bright red, marbled to washy body colour. Thick-set lenticels, bright, small.
Quality:
fruit pulp yellowish white, firm, juicy, crisp
Taste:
fine sourish - fruity aroma
Crop yield:
early crop entry, good and regular yields
