Namare

Namare is a large-fruited, purple cartilage cherry, which can be easily picked and can be even harvested by machine.

Big, black „Knorpelkirsche“ (cartilage cherry) freely finished blossoming

Growth:

Medium strong growth, broad sweeping crown, easily formable, scaffold branches oblique upright

Blossom:

Late blossoming, self-incompatible, S-Allele S3S4 (source: JKI, Dr. Mirko Schuster), good pollinators are Knauff’s Schwarze (Black), Sam, Spanische “Knorpel” (Spanish cartilage), Van

Ripeness:

5th –6 th cherry week, ripening time usually coincides with ‚Van‘ and ‚Nadino‘

Appearance:

medium-sized, large, nearly round, luminious purple

Quality:

fruit pulp medium firm (to the bite), somewhat burst-sensitive

Taste:

very aromatic

Crop yield:

on good sites regular, high yield
