Columnar apple trees are characterised by high productivity and stability. Due to the low average growth, little cutting effort is required. The fruits of this variety of autumn can be stored up to 4 weeks.

Growth:

Very compact, columnar growth, very slow growth. Suitable in particular for planting in buckets, for the small home garden or balcony.

Blossom:

rich blossoming, medium early starting, long-lasting, diploid, good pollinator; good pollinators are: Idared, Goldparmäne, Selena, Topaz 

Ripeness:

mid until the end of September, ripe for consumption from October up to December

Storage:

in cold storage until March

Appearance:

fruit medium-sized to large, regular, conical shape, creamy-yellow with bright red body color, creamy-white fruit pulp

Quality:

thin but firm fruit skin, fruit pulp firm (to the bite), fine and juicy

Taste:

very good taste, characterised by a pleasant sugar-sourness ratio and strong flavour

Crop yield:

The early onset yield is high and very regular. The fruits can be stored up to 4 weeks.

Special notes:

The variety is slight susceptible to scab, tolerant to mildew, fire blight and (tree) cancer. Well-suited as a narrow hedge.
