Pomforyou Lancelot

Dwarf apple with a long shelf life for harvesting in the fall. The full yield (production) begins in the fourth year after planting. The taste is similar to the familiar „Elstar“ variety.

Growth:

columnar growth, steep upright, short internodes, slow, compact

Blossom:

medium late, rich blossoming, very robust, diploid, good pollinator; good pollinators for pomforyou are pompink and pomredrobust.

Ripeness:

fruit ripe for picking: Mitte September,  ripe for consumption: ab September

Storage:

storable in cold storage until mid-March

Appearance:

green-yellow, extensively bright to pink, body colour 60–80 %, russet-free, the fruit is medium-sized, flat to medium high, slightly ribbed, the stem is medium long

Taste:

excellent, sourish accents, dessert, processing- and cider apple

Crop yield:

very high, regular, very early onset

Special notes:

very low susceptibility to scab, cancer, fruit rot and aphids
