Reanda

Reanda is a multi-resistant, red winter apple variety for fresh consumption and for processing into juice. It is suitable for commercial and scattered fruit orcharding with integrated and organic farming methods.

Growth:

slow growth, drooping shoots, loose crown, tends to show baldness

Blossom:

up to very high and regular, low/medium frost-sensitive, medium early, high, diploid, good pollinators are Reglindis, Remo, Relinda, Rewena, Piros, Pilot, Pinova etc.

Ripeness:

fruit ripe for picking: mid until the end of September; ripe for consumption: October up to January

Appearance:

medium-sized, medium high, stem bulbous, ribbed, deep and broad calyx deepening, long stem, yellow-green basic colour with up to 90% purple red flamed body colour, pruinose, slightly rough

Quality:

medium firm (to the bite), cream-colored fruit pulp, crisp, fine-celled, juicy

Taste:

aromatic sourish

Crop yield:

Very high, regular yields; very resistant to blossom frost
