Remo
Remo is a multi-resistant autumn apple variety, the wine red, sourish fruits of which are ideally suited for cider apple orcharding, in sunny areas also as a refreshing apple for fresh consumption.

Growth:
slow to medium strong growing, forms a loose crown with thin, hanging fruit wood
Blossom:
early to medium early, high and regular, very low frost-sensitive, diploid, excellent pollinator. Good pollinators are Reglindis, Retina, Rewena, James Grieve, Idared, Golden, Pinova etc.
Ripeness:
Fruit ripe for picking: mid September; ripe for consumption: harvest until October.
Appearance:
Medium-sized, longish fruits, pear-shaped to medium bulbous, small calyx, deep stem deepening. Bright yellow-green, smooth fruit skin, 40–90 % wine red, flamed body colour; pruinose and meshed russet in parts
Quality:
soft, cream-coloured fruit pulp, fine-celled and juicy
Taste:
sourish, fruity aroma; best for apple-strudel
Crop yield:
early onset, high and regular
Special notes:
resistant to scab, fire blight and mildew
