Storage:

storage in nature store without additional cooling (e.g. mud floor in a cellar, or wooden rack) until February

Appearance:

large fruit, ball-shaped, slightly flattened. Stem medium long (approx. 19 mm). Green-yellow, smooth fruit skin with approx. 70 % striped to washy red body colour, fruit pulp yellowish.

Quality:

firm-fleshy, crisp, fine-celled yet very juicy

Taste:

sourish-sweet, excellent taste

Crop yield:

high and very early onsetting, tends to alternate bearing, therefore thinning is recommended for consistent, annual recurring yields

Special notes:

scab-resistant late variety, ballerina-type, slightly susceptible to mildew, excellent dessert apple for home garden area and also suitable for commercial fruit production
