gooseberry jam with Campari

Uniquely red, unique in taste: That is how we know the distinctive aperitif from Italy. The gooseberry jam is characterized by a touch of this typical flavour. For about three 450 g glasses you need 750 g of gooseberries, 750 g of jam sugar 1:1 and 3 cl of Campari.It is very simple: flowers and stems are removed from the goosberries which are then washed, drained and pureed. Put them into a cooking pot, add the jam sugar and mix well. Heat and cook under stirring for 4 minutes. Add the Campari, stir again and remove the pot from the stove. Rinse the glasses with hot water and immediately.
