Great: The ground elder is there!

If either called bishop's weed, herb gerard, or goutweed: the ground elder is a plant which some of the gardeners would prefer to not exist since it readily spreads and is hard to remove. But instead of being annoyed you can make a tasty lemonade of it..

Juice of 3 bio lemons, lemon zest of one bio lemon, about 2 cm of ginger, 300 g of sugar, 10 g of ground-ivy, 10 g of ground elder, 2 bottles of mineral water

Peel the ginger and cut it in thin slices. Boil down the lemon zest, the lemon juice, 250 ml of water and the sugar about 10 to 15 minutes at moderate heat until syrup is obtained.
Rinse off the herbs with water, pour the syrup through a sieve over the herbs and let it steep over night. Then fill the syrup in lidded bottles. Before serving fill up with cold mineral water.
